NORTON MAZA, CHILE.

Norton Maza, lives in Chile, works and exhibits on an international level.

Born in Lautaro, in the south of Chile in 1971, he moved to France in 1975 and lived there until 1980.

He studied Arts in Cuba in the school of arts ¨Juan Pablo Duarte¨, in Havana, also in the provincial school of fine arts of Camagüey, enters in the National School of fine Arts, (ENA), where he graduated in 1989.

In 1990 he continued with his studies in the superior school of fine arts of Bordeaux, France, and returnd to his country in 1994, where he has developed his art ever since.

The main theme of his work relates to the exploration of nowadays sociocultural and political issues determined by globalization.

This makes his work charged with engagemente, irony and sensitivity about the crude and emotional reality expressed in it.

He has participated in numerous exhibitions and international biennials and has received prizes and artistic residences.

His work can be found in private collections (Chile, Canada, Uk, France, Belgium), and public ones:

Norton Maza, habité le chili, travaille et expose au niveau international.

Né à Lautaro au sud du Chili, en 1971, il part pour la France en 1975 et y reste jusqu´en 1980.

Il a étudié l´art à Cuba dans l´ école Juan Pablo Duarte de la Havane, dans l´ école provinciale d´arts plastiques de Camaguey et finalement dans l´école nationale d´art ENA, où il a été diplomé en 1989.

En 1990 il porsuit ses études supérieures d´art dans l´institute des beaux arts de Bordeux, et en 1994 il rentre au Chili d´où il développe son art jusqu´à aujord´hui.

Le thème principal de son oeuvre est lié à l´exploration des contraintes socioculturelles et politiques actuelles déterminées par la mondialisation.

Son oeuvreest chargée d´engagement, ironie et sensibilité et se trouve en interaction avec une réalité crue et émotionelle.

Il a participé dans de nombreuses expositions et bienales internationales, il a reçu des prix et des résidences artistiques.

Son oeuvre se retrouve actuellement dans des collections privées, (Chili, Canada, Royaume Uni, France, Belgique), et publiques:

Norton Maza, leeft in chili, werkt en exposeert op international niveau. Hij werd geboren in Lautaro, zuid-chili, in 1971.

In 1975 verhuisde hij naar frankrijk, en leefde daar tot 1980. Hij studeerde aan de ¨Juan Pablo Duarte¨-school in Havana, richting Kunst.Daarna volgde hij les in de provinciale school voor Schone Kunst te camagüey, om uiteindelijk af te studeren in 1989 aan de nationale school voor Schone Kunsten (ENA).

In 1990 vervolgt hij zijn opleiding aan de Hogeschool voor schone Kunsten te Bordeaux (Frankrijk) en keert daarna naar zijn lang terug in 1994.Het hoofdthema van zijn werk is gerelateerd tot het onderzoeken van socioculturele en politieke toestanden voortvloeiend uit de globalisering. Dit maakt zijn werk geladen met ironie en sensibiliteit wat interacteert met de harde werkelijkheid.

Estudio Arte en Cuba en la escuela Juan Pablo Duarte en la Habana, también en la escuela provincial de artes plasticas de Camagüey, e ingresa posteriormente a la escuela nacional de arte ENA, de donde se titula en 1989.

En 1990 continua estudios Superiores de arte en el Bellas Artes de Bordeaux, Francia, en 1994 retorna a su pais natal desde donde desarrolla hasta la actualidad su obra.

La tematica de su obra esta ligada a la exploración de los contrastes socioculturales y politicos actuales, determinados por la mundializacion, ello hace que su obra este cargada de compromiso, ironia y sensibilidad respecto a la realidad expresamente cruda y emotiva con la que interactua.

Ha participado en numerosas exposiciones y bienales internacionales, asi mismo a recibido residencias de arte y premios.

Su obra actualmente se encuentra en colecciones privadas (Chile, Canada, Reino Unido, Francia, Belgica), y publicas:

ISABEL LAMADRID, CHILE.

Artist born in Santiago de Chile, she studied arts of communication and architecture in the catholic university of Chile.

Her Work has been described by experts as ¨marvellous¨, because of the use of light and shades that give her paintings an amount of reality that goes beyond any imagination.

This makes them exceptionally realistic however they conserve the enchantment of painting.

Thanks to this excellent combination reality-painting-reality. her work belongs to collections in the whole world: New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Sweden, and Japan.
Her work has been exhibited by Amnesty International and many art galleries in Santiago who made a lot for the promotion of this excellent Chilean artist.

Artiste née à Santiago du Chili, à étudie les arts de la communication et l´architecture à l´université catholique du Chili.

CHRISTIAN GUTIERREZ, CHILE.

Artist in the whole range of the expression, he was born in Renaico in the south of Chile and thanks to the sound of his saxophone he was admitted in the Chilean Navy.

After 5 years he decided to abandon the seas and exchange them for canvas, oil and brushes.

His remarkable talent took him to Spain to Chilean Maestro Guillermo Muñoz Vera, considered to be the major Chilean representative of realism in Europe, who provided him with a scholarship through Fundacion Arte y Autores Contemporaneos in Madrid and the Spanish Agency for international cooperation, in order to study technical procedures in european painting of the 17th century.

Every shade of his work shows the faint light of its colours, the later nuances, charged with strength and contrast who result in a fine and sensitive work.

This profound look and the maturity of the use of light brought him to Marocco where the famous Chilean painter Claudio Bravo opened the doors of his house for him in order to let him know one of the great realistic painters of the world and share with him his knowhow that would lead his work to the profound and trascendential level of comtemporary realistic art.

His life and work took place in his beloved Chile, where his work has entered in many private collections and institutions as the Chilean Safety Association (CSA), for which he realized a wall painting in the workers hospital of Mininco.

His work has also been published in the book Culture and Work of the CSA and commented in several mediaas the critical art review Critica de Arte of Madrid, march 1999, and the Chilean nespaper El Mercurio, Sept 2000, Bussines Review, Dec., 1997.

His work is present en several private Collections all over the world.

Artiste dans toute la dimension de l´expression, il est né à Renaico dans le sud du Chili.

Grâce aux tons mélodieux de son saxophone il est entré à l´orchestre de la flotte Chilienne.

Après 5 ans il a décidé d´abandonner les fonds marins et de les échanger contre des huiles, tableaux et pinceaux.

Sont talent l´a emmené en Espagne chez celui qui est considéré comme le plus notable représentant Chilien des écoles réalistes en Europe, le maître Guillermo Muñoz Vera.
A travers la fondation Arte et Autores Comtemporaneos et l´Agence espagnole pour la cooperation internationale, il a reçu une bourse pour réaliser une étude sur les procédures techniques de la peinture européene du 17ième siècle.

Chaque nuance de son travail montre la ténue lumière de ses couleurs et les glacis ultérieurs, chargés de force et de contraste qui donnent comme résultat final une oeuvre fine et sensible.

Ce regard profond et la maturité dans l´usage de la lumière l´ont emmené au Maroc où le célèbre peintre chilien Claudio Bravo lui ouvert ses portes afin qu´il rencontre un des grands peintres réalistes célébres dans le monde. Là-bas il a pu partager avec Claudio Bravo son savoir-faire afin d´atteindre le niveau profond et transcendental de l´art réaliste Contemporain.

La vie et l´oeuvre de Christian Gutierrez se sont déroulé surtout dans son Chili bien aimé.

Son oeuvre appartient désormais à de nombreuses collections privées et à des institutions comme l´association Chilienne de sécurite (ACS), pour laquelle il a réalisé une peinture murale dans l´hôpital du travailleur de Mininco.

Son oeuvre a été publiée dans le livre Culture et Travail de l´ACS et commentée dans plusiers publications comme la revue Critica de Arte de Madrid, en mars 1999, et le journal chilien El Mercurio, en septiembre 2000, Revista de Negocios Décembre 1997.

Ses Oeuvres appartiennent à plusieurs collections privées de par le monde.

Gutierrez werd geboren in Renaico, zuid Chili, en dank zij zijn saxofoon werd hij toegelaten bij de chileense zeemacht.

Na 5 jaar ruilde hij de zee voor een canvas, olieverf en borstels. Zijn opmerkelijk talent bracht hem naar Spanje waar hij een beurs kreeg via ¨Fundacion Arte y Autores Contemporaneos¨ in Madrid.

Hierdoor kon hij de technieken bestuderen van de 17de eeuwse europese schilders.

Zijn mature gebruik van licht en diepgaande kijk op kleur brachten hem naar marokko, bij de befaamde schilder Claudio Bravo, die voor hem zijn deuren opende. Claudio Bravo es één de grootste realistische schilders ter wereld.

Het leven en het werk van Christian Gutierrez spelde zich voor de grootste deel af in zijn geliefde Chili. Zijn werk werd gepubliceerd in het boek ¨Culture et Travail¨, van het ACS. Er verschenen verschillende publicaties, onder andere in ¨Critica de Arte¨, uit Madrid (1999), ¨El Mercurio¨, uit Chili (2000), ¨Revista de Negocios¨, 1997.

Artista en toda la dimensión de la palabra, nació en Renaico al sur de Chile y gracias a sus melodiosas notas de su saxofon ingreso a la banda instrumental de la armada de Chile, tardo 5 años en decidirse a dejar los vaivenes marinos y cambiarlos por lienzos, pinturas y pinceles.

Su notorio talento le llevo a España con el que es considerado el mayor representante
Chileno de las corrientes realistas en Europa, el maestro Guillermo Muñoz Vera, quien a travez de la fundación ¨Arte y Autores Contemporaneos¨, de Madrid y de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional, lo premiaron con una beca para realizar estudios de los procedimientos tecnicos de la pintura europea del siglo XVII.

Cada matiz de su trabajo deja ver la tenue luz de sus colores, veladuras posteriores, cargadas de fuerza y contraste que dan por resultado final una obra fina y sensible, esta profunda mirada y la madurez en el manejo de la luz, lo llevarón a Marruecos donde el reconocido pintor Chileno Claudio Bravo, quien abrio las puertas de su hogar para permitirle conocer a uno de los grandes pintores realistas, reconocidos en el mundo y compartir con el su saber hacer que llevaria su obra a lo profundo y trascendental del arte realista contemporaneo.

Some Colombian people see themselves reflected in his work, because of their defenselessness and the hardships they experience in the political and social conflict the country has lived in for many decades.
It is about scenes of displaced people set in serene and yet ominous atmospheres, peaceful but tragic, that envolve the actors and some of their home towns in a kind of limbo without perceptible past or future.

Jeune artiste Colombien de grande renommée, par la lucidité dans son exécution et la pertinence de ses contenus, qui ont réveillé l´intérêt des collectionneurs au niveau international.
Quelques secteurs de la population Colombienne se voient reflêtés dans son oeuvre à cause du manque de défense et de la dureté qu´ils subissent à conséquence du conflit politico-social dans lequel le pays a vécu pendant de longues décennies.
Il s´agit de scènes qui évoquent le déplacement, placées dans des atmosphères sereines mais abominables, paisibles mais tragiques qui enveloppent les protagonistas et quelques uns de leurs lieux de résidence en des espèces de limbes sans passe ni futur discernables.

Sair García a étudié les Arts Plastiques dans l´Université Nationale de Colombie, d´où il est sorti en 2001.
Pendant sa brève carrière à success il a eu de nombreuses expositions en Colombie, dont sa participation à ArtBo, 2006-2008 et nombreuses expositions internationales.

Joven Artista de amplio reconocimiento, por la lucidez en su ejecución y la pertinencia de sus contenidos, que han despertado el interes de los coleccionistas a nivel internacional.
Algunos sectores de la población Colombiana se ven reflejados en su obra por la indefensión y la inclemencia que padecen a consecuencia del conflicto Politico Social que ha vivido el pais durante largas decadas.
Se trata de escenas ralacionadas con el desplazamiento y ubicadas en atmosferas serenas pero ominosas, apasibles pero tragicas que envuelven a los protagonistas y a algunos de sus sitios de residencia en una especie de limbo sin pasado ni futuro discernibles.

Ariana was born in Buenos Aires, she studied in the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and in the High School of Visual Arts of la cambre.

Her works reflects a deep sensitivity and a personal encounter with her life experiences, memories and dreams of a childhood rich in experiences, for the many countries which she has lived in, as well as for the many different roots her origins give her.

This marvellous combination allows her to create collages, watercolours and oil paintings that invite you to travel through the imagination and creativity of a great artist.
Her works has been exhibited in many galleries in Belgium, Cyprus and Germany.

Ariana Nació en Buenos Aires, estudió en la Académia de Bellas Artes de Bruselas y en la escuela Superior de Artes Visuales de la Cambre.

Su obra refleja una profunda sensibilidad y un encuentro personal con sus vivencias, recuerdos y sueños, de una infancia rica en experiencias, por la multitud de paises en los que a vivido, asi mismo a la amalgama de raices que sus origenes le proporcionan.
